Woman therapist smiling in Carrollton, Georgia

Meet Chauncey

Hello,

Thanks for being here. I know that finding a new therapist is hard, frustrating, and a little awkward. I hope that this space makes the process a bit easier.

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist specializing in neurodiversity-affirming therapy for women. I’ve been working in private practice for the past five years, and in early 2023 I opened my own practice. Building a space where I can focus on supporting neurodivergent women has been both grounding and energizing.

Before private practice, I worked in a crisis response center as well as in PHP, IOP, and residential programs with both adults and adolescents. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the many ways people adapt, cope, and heal.

Outside of my clinical work, I am grateful for a life that is busy and full. I spend most of my time chasing after my spirited four-year-old. When I do get downtime, you’ll usually find me reading (often contemporary or literary fiction, sometimes memoirs), making pottery, cooking, or tending to my houseplants and garden. I also volunteer in my community, including lending my energy to local campaigns during election years.
